A good black and white photo of me with our trusty mascots. “Dog” (on the right) was a great watchdog and was also good at “cold-nosing” one awake. In this picture he was playfully chewing on his pal. I was smiling because I was getting very short; about 30 days left of my one year tour. I was 22 years old and weighed 122 lbs.
