I bought this used 1964 Corvair Monza shortly after starting Community College in 1965. It had the base 95 HP engine and 4-speed manual transmission. It had a few rattles but over time, I managed to locate and fix all of them. After that, I converted the single exhaust system to dual exhaust, plus installed some nice tubing headers. The boost in power was noticeable. I also spent some time shimming up the throttle linkages so the dual carburetors tracked together perfectly, which improved smoothness. I wish I still had the car!
